This antibody was created using our proprietary Fc Silent™ engineered Fc domain containing key point mutations that abrogate binding to Fc gamma receptors.

Specificity: Binds to human EGFR domain III at a site distinct from antibody 7A7 (Ab00134) (Talavera et al. 2011)
Application Notes: This antibody binds to human EGFR and inhibits EGF-dependent clonogenic growth of NRK cells and completely blocks EGF stimulated autophosphorylation of the receptor (Fernandez 1992)
